Singing:
Crispin currently studies singing with Christopher Field. His previous teacher was John Wakefield. He gives frequent song and oratorio performances as well as taking part in opera. Roles sung in fully-staged productions in the last year-and-a-half include Colline in La Boheme, Bartolo in Le Nozze di Figaro, Frank in Die Fledermaus, Leone in Tamerlano, Alidoro in Rossini's La Cenerentola, Aeneas in Purcell's Dido and Aeneas, and Hugo in The Secretary Turned CEO by Danyal Dhondy (a new updated and extended version of La Serva Padrona created for the last Edinburgh Festival).
Crispin is a regular soloist for various choral and orchestral societies. He gives solo song recitals regularly and has done so all over London and England. He has been a member of the professional quintet at the Church of the Annunciation, Marble Arch since 2001, and was previously a Choral Scholar for two years at St Martin-in-the-Fields. He often sings as a deputy at other churches in London and has sung at most of the major British Cathedrals.
